What is the course?
Classical Hebrew Fundamentals covers the basic vocabulary and grammar for biblical and prayer book Hebrew. More specifically, this course enables learners to identify nouns, adjectives, present tense verbs and prepositions.

How does it work?
This course is asynchronous which means that the learning is self-paced online.
Each unit contains: 1) an entertaining opening video; 2) a step-by-step explanation; 3) a vocabulary list; 4) exercises; 5) a video walk-though of the exercise to check your work; 6) and biblical or prayer book Hebrew text study that shows the lesson in action.

Every unit contains a comments section in which you can post any questions or comments. I'll get back to you within 48 hours. If an email response is not enough, we can have a brief chat!

What will I be able to do?

By the end of this course, you will know how to:

• Recognize masculine and feminine nouns
• Begin identifying nouns in biblical passages
• Appreciate why Hebrew vowels are important
• Learn some fun facts about the letters of the alphabet
• Build up a vocabulary of over 80 of the most common words in the Bible
• Recognize prepositions and how they attach to nouns
• Identify adjectives in biblical passages
• Recognize the basic verb form
• Work through verses of a biblical text with guided facilitation
• Feel confident that you can learn biblical Hebrew online!!
